At around 10:45 a.m. on August 27, a 35-year-old woman was driving on Dominion Valley Drive, when she was engaged in a road rage incident with the driver of an SUV, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

The suspect stopped and approached the victim's car with his firearm in hand, police said.

Luckily, another car pulled into the area and the suspect was scared off, authorities said.

Although no shots were fired and no injuries were reported, the victim contacted the police about the incident and the suspect description, law enforcement reported.

The driver of the SUV was described as a bald, heavyset white male, with a beard, officials said.

He was last seen wearing an orange shirt, black shorts, white shoes, and white socks, authorities said.
